On August 7th, 2010 Chief Minister of Uttarakhand inaugrated Nephro-Dialysis Centre at Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital in Dehradun. Project was awarded to Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd. earlier and contract was signed on February 23, 2010. This facility has been commissioned in 5 months after signing the contract.

 Directorate of Medical Health and Family Welfare had procured 13 Mobile Health Vans for the purpose of starting "Sachal Chikitsa Vaahan" service to address the needs of remote areas in the state.
In year 2009 these were awarded to two Private Operators under PPP arrangement for Operation and Management.
