Nephrology Centre Haldwani PPP Project was awarded to M/s Rahicare and contract was singned on March 8, 2011. This centre has commenced delivery of dialysis services on October 1, 2011 under a soft launch program by the Rahicare.

On December 21, 2011 Shri Banshidhar Bhagat, Minister of Health, Government of Uttarakhand formally  innuagrated  the facility.

a)To build a Nephrology Centre at a space measuring 480 sq meters available at Coronation Hospital.


a)To run the project on Build -Operate-Transfer (BOT) mode.
b)To procure and run thirteen (13) dialysis machines
c)To keep the facility open for patients from 8.00 AM to 6 P.M. (Min)
d)To respond to emergency cases during odd hours also.
e)To dedicate one separate machine each for patients infected with HIV, hepatitis-B and hepatitis-C.
f)To recruit the required personnel including Nephrologists, Technicians, nurses, ward boys and other support staff.
g)To install a suitable database and application software for maintaining patient records.
h)To maintain agreed service levels (99% uptime, 12 hrs operation etc)

User Charges

a)To charge the patients for consumable at least 15% less than the prevailing MRP.
b)To serve the BPL and HIV infected patients free of cost.
c)To maintain records of paying and non paying patients (BPL&HIV infected patients).

b)To ensure “zero stock out” situation.
